Omen (born Sidney Brown on August 21, 1976 in Harlem, New York) is a Grammy‑winning American record producer, songwriter, keyboardist, and sampler known for his work in hip-hop, R&B, and soul. Rising through the early 2000s, he produced notable tracks such as “Everybody” for Memphis Bleek and “No 1 Can Compare” for Amil, and served as composer for the soundtrack of the film Paper Soldiers. His collaborations include major artists such as Drake, Lil Wayne, Beyoncé, Ludacris, Fabolous, Redman, and Keith Murray. Omen achieved critical acclaim for production on Ludacris’s Grammy-winning album Release Therapy.
