Madoc, the stage name of Anuraag Chadha, is a Mumbai-based electronic music producer and DJ widely regarded as a pioneer of South Asia’s house music scene. He transformed club culture in India beginning in the early 2010s, shifting from underground house to a signature mainroom sound marked by bold beats and melodic hooks. Trained under early Mumbai DJs and later at a renowned London music school, he earned acclaim with chart-topping original tracks and remixes—becoming the first Indian artist signed by major international labels and officially remixing global acts. His EPs have charted on Beatport, and he has consistently performed at leading festivals like Sunburn, Supersonic, and VH1’s biggest electronic events, as well as opening for global stars. In 2024, he co-founded the live duo Madmen with Omen, and embarked on a national tour that showcased his matured, energetic style. Known for his festival-ready beats and global outlook, Madoc continues shaping India’s electronic music evolution.
