Nithya Menen (born 8 April 1988 in Bengaluru, Karnataka) is a critically acclaimed Indian actress and playback singer who works across Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi cinema. She began her film journey as a child artist in 1998 and later starred in the Kannada film 7 O’ Clock (2006). Her breakthrough came with the Telugu romantic comedy Ala Modalaindi (2011), earning her the Nandi Award for Best Actress. Known for films like Ustad Hotel, Bangalore Days, OK Kanmani, Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde, Mersal, and Thiruchitrambalam, she has received a National Film Award, four Filmfare Awards South, and two Nandi Awards.
