Hesham Abdul Wahab is an Indian music composer, playback singer, and audio engineer primarily known for his work in the Malayalam film industry. Born on October 14, 1990, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, he later moved to India where he pursued a career in music. A trained Carnatic vocalist with a background in Hindustani and Western music, Hesham studied at SAE Institute in Chennai and later at KM Music Conservatory. He began gaining recognition with his compositions for Malayalam films and rose to fame with the critically acclaimed music for the movie Hridayam (2022), which became a massive success and showcased his ability to blend soulful melodies with modern soundscapes. His music is often described as emotional, soothing, and richly orchestrated. Apart from composing, he has lent his voice to several tracks and is admired for his versatility across genres. Hesham is regarded as one of the most promising young talents in South Indian cinema today.
