The Local Train is an Indian rock band known for their Hindi and Urdu lyrics, blending alternative rock with poetic storytelling.Formed in Chandigarh in 2008, The Local Train relocated to New Delhi in 2015. The band initially featured vocalist Raman Negi, lead guitarist Paras Thakur, bassist Ramit Mehra, and drummer Sahil Sarin. In April 2022, vocalist Raman Negi departed from the band.
