Ajay Hooda (born 6 October 1983 in Khilwadi village, Rohtak, Haryana) is a former Indian Army soldier turned celebrated Haryanvi singer-songwriter and lyricist. After serving for around 15 years, he began his music career by writing traditional raginis and later released his debut song in 2014. His breakthrough came with the track “Patola”, which brought him widespread recognition, and he followed it up with energetic hits like “Solid Body,” “Fan Main Hukka Ka,” “52 Gaj Ka Daman,” “Pyar Permanent,” “Taagdi,” and “2 Kilo Perfume.” Known for merging Haryanvi folk traditions with modern pop beats and expressive storytelling, his music resonates deeply with local and youth audiences alike. Ajay has been honored as Haryana’s Best Live Performer and continues to headline live concerts, festival stages, and regional events.
