Func is a Mumbai-based electronic music duo formed in 2007 by vocalist/guitarist Monica Dogra and producer/multi-instrumentalist Randolph Correia. The pair became known for their genre-defying fusion of electronica, rock, and experimental sounds, merging indie rock energy with synth-driven production and atmospheric flair. Their breakout albums includes Light Tribe and Mantis, which featured eclectic collaborations and widened their appeal across India’s indie music scene. Known for vibrant live performances, they incorporate improvisation, visuals, and high energy into every show. Shaa’ir and Func have also toured internationally and shared festival lineups alongside other emerging and established acts. With strong vocals, thoughtful songwriting, and adventurous arrangements, the duo helped pioneer a modern electronic-indie sound in India, influencing a generation of artists in alternative and experimental music.
