Rajat Nagpal (born 11 March 1993 in Fatehabad, Haryana) is a versatile Indian music composer, producer, mix engineer, and playback singer whose work spans Hindi and Punjabi music. Trained in both Indian and Western classical traditions, he began his career as a studio engineer and assistant producer at Beatfactory Studios before emerging as a key collaborator with singer Guru Randhawa. Their breakout collaboration was the chart‑topping track “Suit Suit” (from Hindi Medium), which brought him into mainstream Bollywood in 2017. He also co-composed music for other notable films such as Tumhari Sulu and Dil Juunglee. As a solo artist, Rajat is known for independent singles like “Fashion,” “Taare,” “Ban Ja Rani,” “All I Need,” “Akhiyaan,” and “Freeze”, often highlighting his piano‑driven melodies and electronic production use on Logic Pro and Pro Tools.
