Sukriti Kakar, born on May 8, 1995, in New Delhi, is a prominent Indian playback singer known for her energetic vocals and versatile performances in Bollywood as well as pop music. Raised in a musically rich environment, with her mother trained in Hindustani classical music and sisters Akriti and Prakriti also successful singers, Sukriti’s passion for music blossomed early. She came into the limelight with the title track of the film “Boss” (2013) alongside Meet Bros and Yo Yo Honey Singh. Her breakthrough hit “Kar Gayi Chull” from Kapoor & Sons (2016) gained her massive popularity, followed by memorable songs in films like “Dil Dhadakne Do,” “Rustom,” and “Pathaan.” Sukriti, often collaborating with her twin sister Prakriti, has also made a mark with several non-film hits and global collaborations, including a remix of Dua Lipa’s “Levitating.” Her achievements include Billboard chart rankings and features at Times Square, making her one of the leading contemporary voices in Indian music.
