Vishal Chandrashekhar is a distinguished Indian music composer and pianist, best known for his innovative film scores in the Tamil and Telugu cinema industries. Born on November 8, 1985, in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, he began playing the keyboard at age six and gave solo performances by the age of ten. Vishal graduated from Anna University with a master’s degree in Electronic Media and later completed a foundation course at KM Music Conservatory. He started his career composing music for over 450 short films and 250 ad jingles, earning accolades as the best music director in the “Nalaya Iyakkunar” show. Vishal made his film debut with “Hi Da,” but first gained major attention with “Inam” (2014) and the critically acclaimed soundtrack for “Jil Jung Juk” (2015). His work spans projects such as “Sita Ramam,” “Krishna Gaadi Veera Prema Gaadha,” “Oh Manapenne,” and numerous independent music releases.
