Advaita is an eclectic fusion band based in New Delhi, India, formed in 2004. The band’s name, derived from the Sanskrit word meaning “non-duality,” reflects their philosophy of creating a unified musical experience by blending diverse genres and traditions.Advaita comprises eight musicians, each bringing distinct musical sensibilities that dissolve into one another to create a unique sound.Their lineup includes Abhishek Mathur (guitars), Aman Singh (drums), Anindo Bose (keyboards/backing vocals), Chayan Adhikari (western vocals/percussion/acoustic guitar), Gaurav Chintamani (bass), Mohit Lal (tabla/vocals on megaphone/backing vocals), Suhail Yusuf Khan (sarangi), and Ujwal Nagar (Hindustani vocals).
