Born into an academically inclined family with no known musical background, Clinton Cerejo was influenced by great producers such as Quincy Jones, Trevor Horn, Arif Mardin, Stevie Wonder, Babyface, Hugh Padgham, Peter Gabriel, Roland Orzabal, and Roy Thomas Baker. He began his musical journey by performing English songs for Marathi films and later contributed to numerous advertisement jingles. His collaboration with A. R. Rahman marked a significant milestone in his career. Cerejo has been a prominent figure in projects like Coke Studio@MTV, with notable songs such as “Madari” and “Baina.” He has also composed music for films like Kahaani (2012) and Rangoon (2017), earning accolades for his work.
