Kumar Sanu, often referred to as the “King of Melody,” gained prominence in the late 1980s and 1990s with his soulful renditions in numerous Bollywood films. His singing style is heavily influenced by the legendary Kishore Kumar.Throughout his career, Sanu has been honored with multiple awards, including five consecutive Filmfare Awards for Best Male Playback Singer. In recognition of his contributions to Indian music, he was awarded the Padma Shri, one of India’s highest civilian honors.
