Born on November 11, 1956, in Hyderabad, Talat Aziz developed a passion for music at an early age. He received training in classical music under the guidance of Ustad Samad Khan and later under Mehdi Hassan, a legendary ghazal singer. Talat Aziz’s career took off in the late 1970s and early 1980s with albums like “Jagjit Singh Presents Talat Aziz” and his performance in the film Umrao Jaan (1981), where he sang “Zindagi Jab Bhi.” Over the years, he has released numerous ghazal albums and has performed extensively in India and abroad. In addition to his singing career, Talat Aziz has composed music and acted in television serials and films, showcasing his versatility as an artist.
